In 2009 the organizers of ISU are going to offer for the seventh time a high quality summer study
program. Building upon previous success, this year’s program will focus once again on the economic development of the European Union. Frankfurt, with its importance to the European Union, offers a unique opportunity to combine theory and practice of economic acting due to numerous multinational institutions.Upon arrival in Frankfurt, the ISU team and faculty members will tend to your personal and academic needs throughout the duration of the program. Accommodation will be arranged in double rooms with breakfast in a conference hotel.

In addition to the study program, an interesting cultural program is offered: weekend trips to the
impressive Rhine River (including boat trip) and Luxemburg. Excursions include trips to the European Central Bank, the Deutsche Bundesbank and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Additionally offered are visits to museums, theatres and concerts, lectures by guest speakers representing sciences, politics, economics and culture; opening and closing receptions and more...

The MSF program provides rigorous training in finance, helping students to develop their analytical and financial management skills. The program allows students to pursue study in either corporate finance or investments.

Northeastern's MSF curriculum is taught by full-time faculty, recognized as expert researchers by award-winning industry journals. 项目概况(The PhD Program):


Candidates complete a 3 year program at UNSW consisting of coursework and a thesis and graduate with a UNSW PhD degree. It is open for application by students who are in the final year of a research masters program, or have completed a research masters program at or have been admitted to a nominated Chinese University’s Doctoral program at the time of application.
Students enrolling in this 3 year program will complete up to 2 semesters of coursework preparation and a thesis proposal plus submit a thesis of around 80,000 words which will be examined by 3 examiners.

Applicants must first register their interest in applying for admission by emailing the Australian School of Business Research Office (Email: graduateresearch.business@unsw.edu.au) and providing the following information:

1. The School/s in which you are interested.

2. Your resume/curriculum vitae

3. Your research topic. Please attach a well-developed research proposal which should demonstrate:

* Clear aims and objectives
* Issues you would like to explore (why it is important and interesting)
* The background literature supporting your project
* The way your project would significantly add to the understanding of the topic
* Some consideration of method
* A detailed bibliography of your background literature
* A good command of the English language
* That you are capable of independent and critical thinking

Please note that sample research proposals are available upon request

4. Academic transcripts for all previous degrees (at this stage it is not necessary to provide certified copies)

5. names and contact details of referees (at least one)

6. Any other relevant information available, such as *English language scores, an abstract of your thesis completed for your previous degree(s) and GRE/GMAT results (only if you have one) etc.

The Business Research Office will forward your details to the Postgraduate Research Coordinator of the relevant School/s who will inform you as to whether you should proceed to making a formal application. The School Postgraduate Research Coordinator will also help you establish a prospective supervisor.

English Language Requirement

To be eligible for entry at UNSW plus satisfy the Australian Government's student visa requirements, students must provide tisfactory results from an IELTS test undertaken no more than two years prior to the intended commencement date of the UNSW program. An overall minimum score of 6.5 is required together with a minimum score of at least 6.0 in each of the subtests of listening, reading, speaking and writing.

Only eligible applicants who have satisfied the English requirement can be recommended for a UNSW/CSC scholarship. Intending applicants should arrange to sit an IELTS test as soon as possible. When organising to sit an IELTS test please ensure that you allow sufficient time for the test score to be reported to our School at least three weeks before the CSC deadlines for applications.

G8 Youth Summit 2009 - Bocconi University (Milan)

Dear Colleague,

We would like to bring your attention to the “G8 Youth Summit 2009”, a student-run international simulation that will be held at Bocconi University, Milan, from March 15th to March 21st.
Talented and motivated Undergraduate and Graduate students from top universities in the G8 countries (Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia, UK, and USA) and the O5 countries (Brazil, China, India, Mexico, and South-Africa) are invited.

During the Summit, the main activity of the students role playing the positions of Head of State, Sherpa, Ministers and Head of National Business Association will be the Discussion of the topics, the Negotiations and the draft of a "Final Communiqué". Discussions and Negotiations will take place in dedicated panels.

We would appreciate your support in promoting this event to your students (and ideally also to the students coming to Bocconi for an Exchange Program during the next Spring Semester, 2009), and in directing them to the Summit website, www.g8youthsummit.org.We would also be very thankful if you could send out to all your potentially interested students the application form (to be filled in and sent together with the Curriculum Vitae and Motivation Letter to the following e-mail address: apply.china@g8youthsummit.org) and the leaflet attached to this e-mail.
